Hey everyone! My name’s Nadav Kempinski ✌️

Quick intro on me: I’m currently 23, I swap between SD/SB/PHL, I love climbing and surfing. Preferred pronouns: he/him/his. I’m a workaholic, I love knowledge gathering but terrible at follow through, and I’m a complete idealist. You’re all caught up!

If you asked me the 3 things I know for certain about myself, here’s what I’d say:

  1. I want to better understand the world.

  2. I have no clue what I’m doing with my life.

  3. I find it exhilarating to support people in achieving their dreams.

Why these things? I don’t know. But whenever life hits me with a curveball or my brain goes crazy thinking about life and purpose, this is what it boils down to. I’m ready to double down on these premises, and I want to live by them. This is why I’m creating a newsletter — to better understand myself while helping others understand themselves too.

For friends, I’m sorry I’m so terrible at staying in touch — let this be my way of updating you on how things are going!

For everyone, I hope you can read some of my writing and understand your place in the world by looking at somebody who has no clue if a place exists in the world for him (spoiler: there’s a spot for all of us, but we have to make it ourselves 🤷‍♂️).

FAQs

Why did you make a newsletter?

There’s this super cool TED talk on this class of people called “multipotentialites.” We’re the ones who find it super exciting to do something… for a bit. We get bored after a while. We move on. I wanted to keep people in the loop with what I’m learning, so that maybe my toils can support somebody else’s toils one day.

What do I have to gain by reading?

Sometimes I’ll be posting about new things in the world you may have never heard about. Sometimes I’ll be sharing a quick how-to on something interesting in the world. Sometimes… fuck it, sometimes I may just be telling you about my day because I’m bored. But I promise you, what I write about will be informative, intriguing and/or funny. Sign up to see which one it may be.

I have enough emails in my inbox, why sign up for yours?

Great point. There’s too much information being shared around the internet, and so much of it is directed at you because people know how you spend. Here are some of the principles I hold dear:

  1. I only write things I think will be helpful for you to read.

  2. I won’t encourage reckless spending or time-wastes that degrade your quality of life.

  3. I realize this is a learning process, and am dedicated to better understanding how to support people in achieving their dreams.
